If you're not training every day, then you're making mistakes

So train. Don't just sit on your ass!

If you're making up excuses like, "Oh, I only train twice a week because the rest of the time I'm with the girlfriend/husband/kids/dog, so I just don't have time," then you're making excuses. And it's not the girlfriend or the dog who's the problem. It's because you haven't been training, and you want to believe it's some sort of excuse.

I used to train with my jump rope once a day. Then I was going to once a day every other day. Once a week... That's a huge difference. But with all that jumping rope training... you have to train and make mistakes. If you're not trying, then you're making excuses. If you are trying, then it's training. If you're trying and failing, then you're making excuses and failing.

🤹️

If you're making excuses, then you need to train more. If you have no excuse for training, then you know you are just not doing enough You might have a lot of bad habits. You might be trying to kill yourself. You don't just learn how to do something or not do something. You learn how the world is, how to navigate it and what not to do or not do.

📣

But I would say... if you can train one day a week... that's good enough for now... just focus on your current situation. If you're doing bad right now, then there's a lot of time for you to turn around. We never train to train. If you stop training, you never train. But we train so we can train better the next time. If you stop training and you just make excuses and say, "Oh yeah, I was going to train once a day yesterday... today I'm going to rest because I have a bad back..." you know... you're going to make excuses. Train so you train better!
